Pathao Road Safety Campaign
Pathao Raises Road Safety Awareness with “Safe থাকি, Safe রাখি” Campaign
Dhaka, Bangladesh, 11 May, 2026: For the last decade, Pathao has been working consistently to make transportation safer for everyone. Continuing this effort, Pathao has launched a new road safety awareness campaign titled “Safe থাকি, Safe রাখি”.

The campaign aims to highlight everyday road safety mistakes creatively. Common issues like not wearing helmets, ignoring traffic rules, or overlooking vehicle fitness will be presented through cartoons and artwork to help people better understand their impact.
A key highlight of this campaign is the jury panel. Well-known cartoonists Ahsan Habib, Morshed Mishu, and Syed Rashad Imam Tanmoy will judge the submissions. This is a great opportunity for young and talented artists to showcase their artwork. The main focus of the artworks should be on showing how everyday safety habits like wearing a helmet, safe driving, and following traffic rules can reduce road accidents. Artists are also encouraged to include Pathao in their creative work in a smart and natural way.
Pathao has also announced attractive prizes for participants. Based on the jury’s decision, the first winner will receive BDT 50,000 and a crest, the second winner will receive BDT 25,000 and a crest, and the third winner will receive BDT 15,000 and a crest. In addition, six more selected artists will each receive BDT 5,000 and a certificate. Beyond cash rewards, selected artworks will also be displayed in a Pathao exhibition and may be featured in Pathao’s annual calendar. Winners will be announced on Pathao’s social media channels.
Participants must follow specific guidelines while creating their artwork. Submissions can be black and white, bi-color, or full color, and can be created using traditional or digital methods. However, AI-generated or copied work will not be accepted. For digital submissions, files must be 300 DPI in JPEG and PSD formats, with text and speech bubbles in separate layers, uploaded via Google Drive. For traditional artwork, scanned copies in 300 DPI on A3 size (12” x 18”) are required. Any politically or religiously sensitive content will not be accepted.
Interested artists must submit their work by 20 May 2026. Submissions can be made through the official form, Google Form Submission, or by emailing [email protected]. Participants must include their name, phone number, and social media links in the form. As part of participation, artists must also share their work on Facebook using the hashtags #কার্টুনপাঠাও and #SafeথাকিSafeরাখি.
In addition, to further raise awareness about road safety, Pathao has started organizing different workshops. Several universities, including BRAC University and the University of Asia Pacific, as well as some schools and colleges, have already joined these sessions with Pathao.
Alongside this, a special workshop is also being arranged with Cartoon People, where different cartoonists will come together to create artwork aimed at spreading road safety awareness among the general public.
Pathao is here to inspire people to be more responsible on the road and help build a safer transport culture in Bangladesh through this creative campaign.
