• A Rapid Pass account on https://rapidpass.com.bd/
• Your MRT Pass / Rapid Pass card
• A Pathao Pay wallet/account with enough balance

How it works

Recharging your Metro Rail card through Pathao Pay is simple and smooth.

1. Log in to your Rapid Pass account on https://rapidpass.com.bd/
2. Open the three-bar (☰) menu on the top-left corner
3. Tap on Recharge
4. Select your Metro Rail card (MRT Pass or Rapid Pass)
5. Enter your desired amount
6. Continue to Pay
7. On payment screen choose Mobile Banking → Pathao Pay
8. Confirm the payment by providing your Pathao Pay account details as required to complete the recharge
9. Finally, tap your card once on AVM machine at any Metro station to activate your recharge

That’s it. A few taps on your phone, one tap at the station, and you’re good to ride.

A few things to remember

• A small service charge of 0.83% applies
• Online recharge stays Pending until activated at an AVM machine
• Pending top-ups remain valid for 3 months
• If not activated within 3 months of in-app recharge, the amount auto-refunds with a 10% service fee
