Account Deletion: Driver App

We understand that sometimes you may need to say goodbye to Pathao. This guide will walk you through the simple steps on how to delete your account from the Pathao app.

Before You Begin:

Please note that to successfully delete your account, you’ll need to ensure a few things:

  • Clear any outstanding dues: If you have any unpaid fares or other charges, you’ll need to settle them before proceeding.
  • Complete ongoing orders: You cannot delete your account if you have any active ride requests or deliveries in progress.
  • Be in good standing: Your account cannot be deleted if it’s currently suspended.

Steps to Delete Your Account:

  1. Open the Pathao app and tap on your Profile icon.
  2. Select “Edit Profile”.
  3. The app will check for any outstanding dues or ongoing orders. If present, clear them before continuing.
  4. If your account is suspended, you’ll need to contact Pathao support to resolve the suspension before deletion.
  5. Once everything is clear, navigate to the “Account Deletion” section (exact location may vary slightly).
  6. Select “Delete Account”.
  7. Choose your reason for deleting your account from the provided options.
  8. A verification code (OTP) will be sent to your registered phone number. Enter the OTP in the designated field.
  9. Once the OTP is verified, your Pathao account will be deleted.

Important Note:

  • Deleting your account is permanent. After 30 days, all your data will be erased from our systems.
  • If you wish to use Pathao again in the future, you’ll need to create a new account.

Pathao Account Deletion Terms and Policy

This policy outlines the implications of deleting your Pathao account. By deleting your account, you understand and agree to the following:

Data Removal:

  1. After 30 days, Pathao will permanently remove your data from its systems upon your account deletion. This includes:
  • Account profile information
  • Past trip history
  • User preferences
  • Any active Pathao subscriptions
  • Any remaining Pathao points (User App)
  • Any digital wallet money associated with your account

Re-registering after Deletion:

If you wish to use Pathao again after deleting your account, you will need to create a new account after the first 30 days.

Your information will remain the same if you log in within 30 days

User can not delete an account if: 

Outstanding Dues: You cannot delete your account if you have any outstanding payments due to Pathao. Please clear all dues before proceeding with deletion.

Active order: If you have any active order ongoing, you need to complete your order first

Account Status: Your account deletion request will only be processed if your account is in good standing. This means:

  • Your account is not currently suspended. In this case, you need to be unsuspended first
  • It has not been suspended for life-time. In this case, you can not delete your account
