Before you even start your ride, you’ll be able to see how safe your experience will be, including how to identify your driver, what kind of help is available during the ride, and how to take quick action in case of danger, all of it is easily accessible in one view.

You can access this feature through the ‘Safety Coverage’ screen on the Pathao app. Here’s what you’ll discover when you access it:

For only Tk 3 extra, Pathao ensures added peace of mind with exclusive safety benefits in case of accidents or emergencies:

• Personal accident assistance up to Tk 5,000
• Medical expense reimbursement up to Tk 1,00,000
• One-time financial support of Tk 1,00,000 for major accidents

How to apply for safety coverage after an accident?

• Collect all medical documents related to your treatment.
• Take clear photos or scan the documents and email them to [email protected] to apply for coverage.

2. Real-time safety support

Share your live location and ride details with your loved ones as soon as your trip begins. In case of any emergency, you can call 999 directly from the app. Plus, Pathao’s dedicated support team is available 24/7 to assist you whenever you need.

3. Driver verification

Every Pathao rider and captain goes through a thorough verification and training process. Before starting your trip, you can check the driver’s rating, total trips completed, profile picture, and registered vehicle details, so you always ride with confidence.

4. Privacy protected

Your phone number, address, and profile information are always kept safe. You can communicate securely through the in-app chat, and soon, an in-app calling feature will be introduced to ensure even stronger privacy protection.
