Safe থাকি, Safe রাখি Through Art with Pathao

Safety has always been one of Pathao’s biggest priorities. For the last decade, we have worked to make everyday rides safer and more reliable for everyone.

Now, we are bringing a new initiative to spread this message creatively.

Introducing Safe থাকি, Safe রাখি, a road safety awareness competition by Pathao.

Through cartoons, we want to start conversations around the common mistakes we often make during our daily commute. Sometimes we forget to wear helmets. Sometimes we ignore traffic rules. Sometimes we overlook vehicle fitness checks. Small habits like these can make a big difference on the road.

This campaign is all about using creativity to inspire safer journeys for all.

What You Need to Do

Create a one-page cartoon based on road safety.

Your cartoon may highlight topics like:

• Not wearing a helmet
• Ignoring traffic rules
• Unsafe riding or driving habits
• Vehicle fitness and maintenance
• Everyday actions that can make travel safer

Hint: We would also love to see a smart and subtle mention of Pathao somewhere in your artwork.

Please note that we are not looking for political, religious, or group-based messaging. Our goal is simple. We want to raise awareness and encourage safer roads through creativity.

Artwork Guidelines

Your cartoon can be:

• Black and white
• Bi-color
• Full color

You may create it in:

• Traditional medium
• Digital medium

AI-generated artwork will not be accepted.

File Requirements

Size and Resolution

• Page Size: 7” × 9.5” inches
• Resolution: 300 DPI

If You Submit Digital Artwork

Please share:

• JPEG file
• PSD file

In the PSD file:

• Text must be in separate layers
• Speech bubbles must be in separate layers

If You Submit Traditional Artwork

Please scan your artwork in 300 DPI resolution and submit it as a JPEG file.

Rewards

Shortlisted cartoons will be featured in one or more exhibitions.

Selected winners by our jury panel will receive:

• 1st Prize: BDT 50,000
• 2nd Prize: BDT 25,000
• 3rd Prize: BDT 15,000
• 4th Prize (6 winners): BDT 5,000 each

Also, selected cartoons will be featured in Pathao’s year-end calendar.

Some artworks may also be used in future Pathao campaigns or merchandise.

Terms and Conditions

• Submit your artwork by 20 May 2026.
• Submitted work must be original.
• AI-generated or copied artwork will be disqualified.
• Jury decisions will be final.
• Incomplete entries will not be considered.
• By participating, you will allow Pathao Limited to use selected artworks in future campaigns, merchandise, and communication materials.
• Pathao Limited reserves the right to update competition rules if needed.
