Items Not Accepted by Pathao Parcel: What Merchants Should Know

Pathao Parcel is committed to delivering your products safely and efficiently across Nepal. To ensure security, legal compliance, and a smooth delivery experience, we have a strict policy on what items can and cannot be delivered through our network.

Below is a complete list of non-deliverable items, along with size and weight limits that all merchants must follow.

Prohibited Items

The following items are not accepted for delivery through Pathao Parcel:

  • Live or dead animals
  • Perishable food requiring refrigeration
  • Highly fragile or easily breakable goods
  • Hazardous items: flammable liquids, firecrackers, dry ice, chemicals
  • Precious metals or stones (e.g., gold, diamonds)
  • Prescription drugs, narcotics, or illegal substances
  • Pornographic or obscene materials
  • Counterfeit or pirated products
  • Dangerous or replica weapons (e.g., firearms, knives)
  • Tobacco and alcohol products
  • Illegal animal products (ivory, fur, etc.)
  • Plants and live seeds
  • Government-issued documents (passports, citizenship, licenses)
  • Cash, cheques, bank drafts, bonds, or any monetary instrument
  • Large electronics or bulky appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, AC units)

Size & Weight Limitations

To ensure operational efficiency and parcel safety, Pathao Parcel enforces the following maximum dimensions:

  • Maximum weight: 10 kg
  • Maximum volume: 50,000 cm³ (roughly 40cm x 40cm x 60cm)
  • Ideal size for efficient handling: 25cm x 25cm x 25cm

Parcels exceeding these limits may be rejected at pickup or returned without delivery. For high-volume or custom requirements, contact your account manager or the support team.
