Step-by-Step Guide to Add a Missing Location:

1. Open the Pathao App:
Start by launching the Pathao app on your phone. On the home screen, tap on your current address displayed at the top of the screen.

2. Tap on “Set Address”:
You’ll be taken to the address search screen. If you can’t find the location you’re looking for, scroll down and tap on the “Add Missing Place” button.

This will open up a new form where you can submit the missing address.

How to Add a Private Residence

Adding your home address? Here’s what you need to know:

• Use a recognizable nearby landmark (e.g., “Near ABC Grocery Store”).
  
• Enter the street name, area name, or building name (if it’s a known apartment or colony).
  
• Pin the exact location on the map carefully — this helps our team verify your submission accurately.
  
• Once all the information is filled in correctly, tap Submit.
  

This ensures that even if your house doesn’t have an official listing, it can still be found easily by using nearby points of reference.

Note: Pathao does not approve personal house names such as “Garima Niwas” or “My Flat.” These names are too private and cannot be verified for public use.

How to Add a Public Place:

Adding a business like a shop, cafe, office, or public location like parks, bus stops and such? That’s even easier!

• Enter the place name (e.g., “Sudeep Liquor Store”).
  
• Add supporting details such as the street name or area.
  
• Pin the correct location on the map.
  
• Select the appropriate category (like Restaurant, Store, Pharmacy, etc.).
  
• Once done, tap Submit and then Done to finish.

What Happens After You Submit?

After you submit the missing location, your information goes through a quick verification process by our team. We check for accuracy, clarity, and whether the location follows our community standards.

If everything is in order, the location will be approved and made available in the Pathao app. You and others will be able to find and use it for rides and deliveries!
